7 strings bass viol 'Stradivarian' set

(Ispired by Stradivari wound string's finds)

String length: 120 cm

This set is inspired by three Stradivari’s wound string findings found at the Violin Museum in Cremona. These are: one ‘demifilè’ string (i.e. open wound) and two close wound.
From the measurements we took on the findings they are probably the fifth, sixth and seventh of the 7-string bass viol. Examples of this kind of setup are found also in some french paintings of the XVIII century
