Vibrating string length: 41-45 cm
Pitch standard: 415 Hz
Single tension
Instructions on how to install our strings:
1) if strings are too long, it’s possible to cut them at the proper length;
2) during the first phase of the tuning, lift the string above the bridge in order to avoid dragging the bridge along with the string;
3) finally, it is suggested to keep the strings out of the nut slot/groove so as to balance the tension both ‘upstream’ and ‘downstream’ the nut. Graphite is not necessary.

Synthetic set for Violoncello da spalla
The strings of the synthetic set are all wound on bio-plastic cores. For the winding we use partially polished round silver or aluminum wire.

Violoncello da spalla F-Red Series: 1st E and 2nd A strings only
The F-Red Series strings are made of a synthetic dark-red core with a red close wound covering, that leads to acoustic characteristics well comparable to natural gut strings. More information on our F-Red Series can be found at the following link: The new F-Red Series for bowed instruments
