Nylgut® Hatun Charango

Our Nylgut sets are made using innovative materials, discovered and perfected in our laboratories after a long period of research and rigorous testing, resulting in a new high-tech synthetic product. Our Nylgut Strings offer a bright and powerful sound.

Attention

ATTENTION As with gut, Nylgutis a cut-sensitive material. Before installing the strings, please ensure that the grooves at the nut and bridge are not too deep, and are perfectly smooth and free of sharp edges. To remove sharp edges, you can use very fine grit sandpaper (e.g. 600) or the finest steel wool (000).

Do not use these strings on instruments with a scale length longer than indicated.

Important

When restringing your instrument, to achieve perfect tuning stability within a few minutes, we suggest repeatedly pulling each string at mid-length (12th fret) and then re-tuning it. Repeat this sequence until the string no longer drops in pitch.
